On Wednesday, 5 August I was honoured to receive the Charles Sturt University Vice-Chancellor Award for Research Supervision Excellence. This award recognises an exceptional record supervising higher degree by research students, measured in terms of feedback from students and/or graduates, time for completion, research publications of current and previous students, and levels of assessment by examiners.
