New Project Funded: Information practices in non-profits

I’m thrilled to announce that I received a Discovery Project grant from the Australian Research Council for “Information practices in non-profits: Knowledge management & technology use.” This project, to be conducted in collaboration with Associate Professor Dinesh Rathi (University of Alberta), aims to study the potential for non-profit organisations to adopt low-cost tools, such as social media, for knowledge sharing.

This research will directly impact non-profit organisations, as findings will be shared with participants and across the sector to improve daily information and technology practices. The results will be used to guide non-profits in the adoption of new tools for knowledge management and to enhance productivity.
